The question of the century: Does pineapple belong on pizza? Well, my friends, the answer is now yes. Transform a baked potato, a slice of bread, or even leafs of romaine lettuce into a full meal with this sauce and toppings. This is mine and my husbands favorite thing to make as it lasts for days and many uses. (If you’re using it for pizza, this recipe makes enough to cover two mediums)

Here are a few more sauce use ideas:

Bell Pepper Bowls

Potato Wedges

Peanut Ginger Sauce

Servings: 2 cups

Ingredients

SAUCE:

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger pealed
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oat milk
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic

TOPPINGS:

  • Pineapple
  • Red bell pepper
  • Mushrooms
  • Yellow onion
  • Garbanzo beans
  • Green onion
  • Peanuts

Instructions

  • Pulse all ingredients in a food processor till smooth, occasionally stopping to scrape down the sides if need be. Note: If you have an older food processor, it’s less messy if you lightly mix all ingredients with a spoon first, otherwise the liquids can spray out the sides of the lid on the first few pulses.
  • After spreading the sauce on your chosen carrier, add your toppings and enjoy raw or lightly baked. (If baking, leave off green onions and peanuts till afterwards).
