This particular recipe isn’t totally salt free, as I use a Garlic & Herb Seasoning that I love. For a no salt Parmesan, leave out the salt and replace with garlic powder, onion powder, and lemon juice powder, OR replace with Benson’s Table Tasty Salt Substitute.

Vegan Parmesan Cheese


  • 1/4 cup nutrition yeast
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (1/2 cup cashews 1/2 cup walnuts is a good choice)
  • 1 tsp Garlic & Herb Seasoning or pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder


  • Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until desired consistency
  • Sprinkle on anything.
  • Enjoy.
